A proposed commercial building could be coming to Richmond's Alexandra Road.
A development permit application was submitted by Ka Seng Li in October 2023 for a 14-unit building at 8680 Alexandra Rd.
The empty lot is currently valued at $25.2 million.
The applicant also applied to the city to subdivide the lot into two lots last year.
The City of Richmond has told the Richmond News the permit proposal is currently under staff review and under circulation.
A previous application by another developer for the same lot, which was cancelled in 2013, was for permission to construct four commercial buildings.
Across the street on Alexandra Road is a newly constructed two-storey commercial building with an office space on the second floor.
