Keg Restaurants has been named the second best place to work in Canada, thanks to positive employee reviews.
The chain, which is headquartered in Richmond, took the number two spot on the list of Best Places to Work in 2022 in Canada, released by Glassdoor as part of its annual Employee Choice Awards.
The awards are based on the input of employees who, throughout the year, voluntarily post anonymous reviews about their job, work environment and employer.

When employees submit reviews, they are asked to share the pros and cons of working for their employer and can provide advice to management. Employees are also asked to rate how satisfied they are with their employer overall, rate their CEO and, for example, their workplace’s career opportunities, compensation, work-life balance, and diversity and inclusion.
The best places to work ranking honours workplaces with 1,000 or more employees. The rating is determined by the quantity, quality and consistency of Glassdoor-approved company reviews submitted by Canada-based employees between Oct. 20, 2020 and Oct. 18, 2021.
