Richmond jobseekers invited to emergency health meet-the-employer event

Success is holding a career workshop at Brighouse library for those interested in working for the BCEHS.

Richmondites interested in a career in emergency health services will get to learn more about various jobs on Wednesday.

SUCCESS is holding a free "meet-the-employer" workshop with B.C. Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) on March 20 at Richmond Public Library both in-person and online.

The session will cover topics such as career opportunities at BCEHS, prerequisites and skill requirements for each position and types of work at BCEHS.

BCEHS jobs include being a paramedic, call-taker and emergency dispatcher.

Eligible participants include permanent residents, protected persons, convention refugees and live-in caregivers.

Registration is required and there are limited spots for in-person attendance.

The workshop will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the second-floor program room at Brighouse library or online via Zoom.
