A man was arrested and charged for allegedly stabbing a woman in Richmond last week.
The man, who is currently in custody, appeared by video in Richmond Provincial Court on the morning of March 22.
He is facing one count of allegedly attempting to murder a woman by stabbing her with a knife, as well as one count of aggravated assault.
According to court documents, the alleged incident happened in Richmond on Saturday, March 16.
He was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim and witnesses while in custody and is scheduled to return to court on April 5.
A date has not been set for his bail hearing.
