Did you forget to take along sunscreen?
Well, if you’re going to go swimming at the Steveston or South Arm outdoor pools, you are covered.
The City of Richmond has partnered with Save Your Skin Foundation to install sunscreen dispensers at these two pools.
Two more dispensers will be used at other outdoor venues and events during the summer.
The dispenser has been at the Steveston Outdoor Pool since it opened on May 20, and the second one will be available to the public when the South Arm Pool opens on June 10.
“Good skincare is selfcare,” the city wrote on its Facebook page in the announcement about the dispensers.
