Students in Richmond public schools are getting a second snow day on Thursday.
The Richmond School District announced all public schools will be closed on Jan. 18 due to "inclement weather and unsafe conditions," according to the district's website.
Post-secondary institutions such as Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Trinity Western University and Vancouver Premier College have all closed their campuses, including in Richmond, for the same reasons.
Most schools have either cancelled classes or transitioned them to online classes for the day.
Schools and the SD38 board office were also closed on Wednesday due to snow in the forecast.
