Following two days of closures, Richmond public schools are back in session on Friday (Jan. 19).
Kwantlen Polytechnic is also open today.
Public schools and KPU were closed on Wednesday and Thursday due to the heavy snowfall.
The Richmond School District is cautioning parents to allow extra time for drop-off and pickup "as there may be limited parking available due to recent snowfall."
After about 20 centimetres of snow fell on Richmond, the weather is expected to turn to rain today.
