Police are warning the public to avoid approaching a wanted man if they see him in Richmond.
Milad Herbert, 32, is wanted Canada-wide for walking away from a Community Residential Facility in Victoria during his statutory release.
According to Richmond RCMP's post on social media platform X on Wednesday, Herbert is suspected to be in the Lower Mainland and is "likely in the Richmond area."
He is described as six feet one inch tall with a medium build and he has black hair, facial stubble and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
He was last seen wearing white cargo-style pants, a dark grey shirt, a black puffy jacket, black and white shoes and a black baseball cap.
The public is asked to call 911 if they spot Herbert.
