A suspect of a child-luring attempt in a Steveston park was arrested over the weekend for the fourth time in a month.
Peter Andrew Wehren, 32, returned to Richmond Provincial Court by video on Monday morning for a bail hearing, which has since been adjourned to Tuesday afternoon.
Wehren was arrested on March 8 in Vancouver for "two breach charges and an outstanding warrant from Richmond," according to Richmond RCMP's media release on Monday afternoon.
He was first arrested in a Steveston park on Feb. 21 on two charges related to communicating with someone under 16 years old to facilitate some sort of sexual offence or abduction.
He was later arrested on Feb. 23 and March 3 for allegedly breaching his release conditions.
Wehren's latest bail conditions from March 4 included requirements to report to his bail supervisor, to not possess alcohol and to not go to a park.
Three days following his release on March 7, Richmond RCMP confirmed to the Richmond News that a warrant had been issued for Wehren for "an alleged breach" of bail conditions.
He is currently in custody after his arrest over the weekend.
Wehren will appear in Richmond Provincial Court by video on Tuesday.
