Steveston has been named the best neighbourhood in Metro Vancouver in a CBC online bracket competition, compiled by the broadcaster’s municipal affairs reporter Justin McElroy.
The winner was announced Friday morning by Stephen Quinn on the Early Edition.
The competition began with 192 neighbourhoods from Lions Bay to Fort Langley, but the final came down to Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood versus Richmond’s historic Steveston village.
