Motorists leaving Richmond through Highway 99 are encouraged to find an alternate route Tuesday afternoon.
According to Twitter posts, an earlier vehicle incident involving an over height semi-truck has the right southbound lane blocked just north of the Massey Tunnel.
Southbound traffic on Highway 99 is backed up past Westminster Highway and onto the on-ramp from Highway 91.
The southbound counter flow is in effect as of 2 p.m.
