Motorists leaving Richmond through Highway 91 should expect congestion and delays as a result of an earlier collision on Wednesday afternoon.
The collision happened on Highway 91 eastbound near No. 7 Road which had reduced traffic to one lane.
Eastbound traffic was backed up to No. 5 Road, the on-ramp from Highway 99 southbound and the on-ramp from Knight Street southbound.
Emergency vehicles were at the scene of the collision.
Meanwhile, traffic at Westminster Highway and No. 9 Road saw high volumes in both directions due to crews working on railway gates and drivers detouring from the collision on Highway 91.
