Vancouver Pride doesn't get much better than this.
It was a near perfect day for the 2018 Vancouver Pride Parade (as long as you stayed hydrated in the 28° sunshine) on Sunday, August 5.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joined in the celebration, greeted with cheers from the tens of thousands of people lining the West End streets. It must have been a welcome respite from the anti-pipeline protests which have dogged the rest of his West Coast tour.
As he marched with fellow Liberal MPs, pausing occasionally to take photos with supporters, his message was loud and consistent: "Happy Pride! Happy Pride!"
