Another night of exciting amateur boxing is being lined up in Richmond this summer.
“Proving Grounds 8 – Summer Smash” is being held Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Richmond Rod and Gun Club.
The last event was held at the same venue in April and proved to be such a hit that organizers got to work setting it up as soon as possible.
The event is being organized by the Richmond-based Pack of Wild Dogs (POWD) Combat Club, which said the demand for “gripping boxing action has been undeniable.”
“We are eagerly gearing up for ‘Proving Grounds 8 - Summer Smash’ and are eager to witness the remarkable talents that will be showcased,” said Jedro Magtoto, POWD manager.
“Our mission is to provide a platform for local boxing talents to flaunt their prowess and earn recognition for their relentless dedication to the sport.”
Tickets for the event are currently on sale and can be bought by calling Magtoto at 778-883-2950 or Mark at 778-322-2195. Limited seating is available, so securing tickets in advance is recommended.
