Richmond Rocket speed skaters won half the medals for B.C. at the national championships over the weekend.
The athletes, under coach Christopher Poljer-So, represented B.C. at the 2025 Canadian Youth Short Track Speed Skating Championships, which took place in Kamloops from March 28 to 30.
Alice Yaxuan Guo, while fighting jet lag from Australia, won silver in the women's 800-metre event.
Meanwhile, Carly Bastien got a bronze medal in all three of the 400-metre, 800-metre and 1,500-metre women's events.
Ethan Leung and Magnus King received bronze medals in the men's 400-metre and 1,500-metre events, respectively.
