Richmond native and former Vancouver Canuck Troy Stecher has been traded once more.

Stecher has left the Detroit Red Wings for the LA Kings, which traded up a seventh-round pick in the 2022 draft.

Stecher, 27, has one goal and one assist in 16 games this season while averaging 15:08 in ice time.

He joined the Red Wings two years ago, after being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Canucks in 2016.

When he made his debut for the Canucks, the then 22-year-old became the first born-and-raised Richmondite to suit up for the hometown NHL team.
