Three Richmond athletes heading to taekwondo nationals

Three young Richmond athletes are representing Team BC at a national taekwondo championship this weekend.

From July 6 to 7, the 2024 Canadian Cadet and Junior Kyorugi National Championships will be held at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Man.

Representing Team BC, and Richmond, are 17-year-old Myra Yu, 16-year-old Sophia Grossi and 15-year-old Leah Yu. All three athletes train at Paragon Martial Arts in Richmond.
