Richmond Air Attack U13 Division 3 volleyball team are provincial champions after a perfect run at the Tradex Centre in Abbotsford.
Coached by Paula Curtis and Paula Stone-Charleton, the girls went undefeated in round-robin play before a thrilling final against the Sunshine Coast Volleyball Club. The Air Attack roared back from a 9-0 deficit to take the third set 15-12. This spoke volumes of the girls' focus and perseverance. The team includes: Kinsey McBride, Haylee Brown, Bella Roberts, Mika Imada, Sana Arora, Ellie Wan, Jenna Curtis, Taylor Thackwray, Emma Rosado-Suarez, Tyra Chu, Jayna Wilson, Miaya Suzuki, Jasmine Wijayakoon and Kyra Penner.
