Open letter to MP Alice Wong,
Bill C-38 has passed and I am writing to express our disappointment that you voted for a "budget bill" that hides so many important changes and derails any debate.
I sincerely hope you will take the time to reflect on how seriously this has damaged our democracy and our trust in the Conservative party.
Your website has been silent about the effects of Bill C-38 (and the Robocall scandal).
May I ask you again to write back and let us know why you were not against the use of a budget bill to pass changes to environment laws, charity laws, the Fisheries Act and CSIS oversight?
Did you not think it was a way to stop any real debate from being covered in the media?
