The City of Richmond is looking for help to shape its strategy for youth initiatives.

From now until April 2, 2023, youths between the ages 13 to 24 years old, family members and people who work with youth can comment on the city's draft youth strategy in three main ways:

  • Complete a survey on LetsTalkRichmond.ca by April 2 before midnight;
  • Talk to the city's roaming street teams; and
  • Attend a social night for youth and young adults to discuss the draft strategy over light refreshments.

Feedback collected from the three initiatives, as well as through engagement with youth-serving organizations such as the school district, Vancouver Coastal Health and Foundry Richmond, will help shape the final youth strategy before it gets presented to council later this year.

Details for the roaming street teams and social nights will be announced on Instagram (@cityofrichmondyouth) or on LetsTalkRichmond.ca. Richmondites can also find out more by emailing [email protected] or calling 604‑276‑4000 and asking for the program lead for youth.
