Want to get to know the Richmond RCMP while grabbing a cup of coffee?
Officers with the Richmond RCMP detachment are having two Coffee with a Cop events in June where community members can ask RCMP officers questions and get to know them better while enjoying some coffee.
The events are organized by the Richmond RCMP Community Engagement Team.
- June 7 from 8 until 10 a.m. at the McDonalds at 8191 Alderbridge Way
- June 21 from 8 until 10 a.m. at the McDonalds in Ironwood Mall. 11668 Steveston Hwy.
We work hard 24/7 to keep the community of Richmond safe but policing a community is about more than just responding to calls for service. It’s also about being connected with its citizens," said Chief Supt. Dave Chauhan, officer-in-charge of Richmond RCMP.
Coffee with a Cop gives people a chance to share their concerns, ask questions and put a face to the officers policing their community.
