Out and About: Vibrant display at Richmond Art Gallery

Photographs, textiles, ceramics and videos among artworks on display in Richmond

The current exhibition at the Richmond Art Gallery — located within the Richmond Cultural Centre —is well worth a visit.

Several artists, working in different mediums, contributed to a colourful display of photographs, cyanotypes, textiles, sculptures, videos, ceramics, and paintings at the gallery.

The gallery exhibition is on until Sept. 29, 2024.

Another exhibition is recommended in the Cultural Centre Annex, just a few metres away, across the plaza.

Richmond-based artist Joselito Macapagal has created a beautiful assembly of realistic and semi-abstract watercolour, oil, and acrylic paintings.

The paintings capture scenes from Richmond, the Greater Vancouver area, Mexico, and the Philippines. This exhibition is on until Sept.23, 2024.
