One person has died after an "industrial accident" in Richmond.
Police were called to the 7600 block of No. 9 Road, near Dyke Road, on Thursday, for an "industrial accident with a fatality," according to a statement from Richmond RCMP.
"As a result of this incident, the impacted business was evacuated," the statement reads.
Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit remains on scene and are working in conjunction with investigators from WorkSafe BC.
No further information will be released at this time, Mounties said.
