Richmond has received $288,070 in community gaming grants from the provincial government.
The Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development announced the cash injection last week for programs in arts and culture, public safety and sport.
These organizations are integral to our community, and contribute greatly to our artistic, athletic and social wellbeing. Im pleased were able to reach out and support them, said Richmond-Steveston MLA John Yap.
Across B.C., 146 recipients will share $3,690,470 in the latest round of grants from provincial gaming revenue. Community gaming grants help local groups provide important services for B.C. families.
