Richmond residents are encouraged to nominate a youth or supportive adult who has contributed to the local community.

The City of Richmond is accepting nominations for two categories in the 2023 U-ROC (Richmond Outstanding Community) Awards.

The two categories for the U-ROC Awards are the Outstanding Youth and the Asset Champions awards.

The Outstanding Youth award is presented to youth who help make Richmond a better place through mentorship, resiliency, leadership or teamwork while the Asset Champions award is given to adults who support youth in the community by building developmental assets through advocacy, programming, mentorship and youth engagement.

Award recipients will be recognized and celebrated at an awards ceremony during BC Youth Week, which takes place May 1 to 7.

Deadline for nominations is 11:59 p.m. on March 27 and can be submitted online. More information is available at richmond.ca/youth.
