Richmond's two London Drugs locations remain closed on Tuesday along with all locations throughout Western Canada.
On Sunday, April 28, London Drugs discovered it was a victim of a cybersecurity "incident," the company said in a press release.
"Out of an abundance of caution, all London Drugs stores will remain temporarily closed across Western Canada until further notice while continuing to provide customers with urgent pharmacy care," the press release stated.
The company is working with a third-party cybersecurity experts in order to bring back operations "in a safe and secure manner."
The Richmond locations of London Drugs are on No. 3 Road and Westminster Highway and in Ironwood Plaza.
London Drugs is currently assessing the extent to which data has been compromised, and if personal information was impacted, they will notify any affected individuals.
Phone lines are down at London Drugs, but anyone needing "urgent pharmacy needs" should go directly to their local store in-person during business hours and they will be helped by pharmacy staff.
