“I always see other people win…and figured I could win too.”
Those were words of Jean Hsu, who was in complete disbelief after winning $60,291.70 when matching six of seven numbers, plus the bonus number, in the Aug. 7 Lotto Max draw.
Hsu, who purchased the winning ticket at London Drugs in Ironwood Plaza, always believed anyone can win the lottery, but when she won she couldn’t quite take it in.
Despite Hsu’s optimism, now that the Richmond resident actually won, she said, “I still can’t believe it.”
On how she plans to celebrate, Hsu plans to travel when it is safe to do so.
