UNIQLO, the popular Japanese retail clothing store, announced in January that it’s coming to Richmond Centre this spring. Now, the retailer has shared the Richmond store's opening date: April 6.
The new location will be on the mall’s first floor, featuring a total sales floor of 8,010 square feet.
Currently, there are two UNIQLO stores in Metro Vancouver, located in Burnaby's Metrotown and Surrey’s Guildford Town Centre.
“We opened our first store in the Greater Vancouver Area last fall and we received a great demand from customers for more stores,” said Yasuhiro Hayashi, chief operating officer of UNIQLO Canada. “This newest expansion demonstrates our commitment to bring LifeWear to more Canadians on the West Coast.”
UNIQLO is recognized for innovative functional apparel.
Besides Metrotown and Guildford, there are currently two other locations in Canada, both in Toronto.
