For a week 247 players from 40 countries came to Richmond Olympic Oval for the 2011 Yonex Canada Open Badminton Grand Prix Championships.
Many came to qualify and a few who are superstars in their country and sport came to show why they are members in such an elite group.
But all came to volley and smash their way to the $50,000 prize money and one step closer to solidifying their position for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England.Chung Chow
