A traveller was greeted with the sight a four-legged resident outside the window of his flight as they landed at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
The Twitter-user, who goes by MA, uploaded a short clip showing the four-legged wildlife resident on the runway on Wednesday afternoon.
In the video, a coyote-like animal can be seen prancing at a distance from the plane towards an area of grass.

The City of Richmond lies at the mouth of the Fraser River and on the Pacific Flyway, which has habitats to different types of wildlife including some near the airport.
In order to make sure there are no disruptions, YVR has a wildlife management department that monitors the airfield year-round to make sure the city’s wildlife friends and travellers stay safe.
