The Richmond Gateway Theatre Society Endowment Fund is accepting grant applications from community performing arts groups.
Established in 1984, the program hands out grants to promote creativity and higher artistic standards for local performing arts groups.
Since its inception, the program has provided more than $86,700 in grants to help recipients, such as the Richmond Community Band Society and Pacific Piano Society bursaries, and offers a multitude of innovative programming.
The deadline for the applications is Monday, April 30 for events running between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013. Grants range to a maximum of $2,500.
