The winter holiday season follows Thanksgiving and this year —as much as ever — we can benefit by celebrating diversity and tolerance.
I searched around Richmond for seasonal lights that reflect a general celebration.
The results were illuminating!
There are at least two ways to enjoy the seasonal lights.
I have always preferred to just drive around and stop when I see interesting light displays. This spontaneous approach is great for families who can have active spotters in the vehicle.
The second method is to find a map of the lights and use this as your guide.
Or a mix of both works well.
Some of the best light displays that I found are in the neighbourhood near the intersection of the Phoenix Drive and Britannia Drive.
Well worth the drive.
