One of the most recognized voices in the voice acting community will be doing a free meet and greet at a Richmond fundraiser.
Matt Hill, best known for his role as Raphael in the cartoon Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation and live-action movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, is appearing at the Autumn Carnival held at Lulu Island Winery on Sunday.
The event, organized by GourmetGroceries.ca and GourmetMarkets.ca, is a fundraiser for the Surrey Christmas Bureau and will feature all kinds of carnival activities including face painting and family and pet portraits.
Hill, who is also known for his roles in Ed Edd n Eddy, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Gundam Seed, will be at the event all day to meet and greet community members, offer free autographs and photos and do a live Q&A.
An artisan market will feature local vendors and carnival concessions will be available by donation. Free hot chocolate and apple cider will be provided while supplies last.
A toy drive will also be held, and those who donate to the toy drive will receive a $15 coupon for GourmetGroceries.ca.
All proceeds will go to support the Surrey Christmas Bureau.
The Autumn Carnival fundraiser will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 5.
