Dear Editor,

Re: "Column: Life lessons to be learned from nature"

I am writing regarding the recent article by your contributor Sabine Eiche, "Life lessons to be learned from nature."

Over the years I have read with pleasure the articles by Ms. Eiche and am aware that among her many interests are observations of nature and the origin of words.

I especially enjoyed her description of plants seeking the light and relating it to the tensions felt around the world at this time.

The simple, clear quote at the end of her article was a true gift of hope to her readers.

I am most grateful for it as inspiration in these demanding times.
